The Team - History

[TDSD] - Technical Downhill & Street Drifting, began as a team on Multi Theft Auto-Race 1.1.1; as a collaboration of remnant members of the [DK] - Drift Kings clan, and a few newbies looking to create a great team. The name [TDSD] was decided upon collectively, and thus in early 2006 the team was born.

The Primary Initiative for the team, at the time, was to become good enough to beat all of the other, bigger teams of that era. In the long run, I suppose you could say we did. Only a handful of official challenges were ever made, and in most cases we came out the victors, though aside from winning races or drifting tournies, we have definitely won in outlasting each of the other teams.

With the Introduction to SA-MP in mid 2006, we spread our wings a bit more and began playing on several drifting / freeroam servers. With this, we found and recruited several new members including Phrozen, who would later go on to create [TDSD]'s first server script; Vertex, who ultimately helped in buidling and keeping the clan alive, as well as making the most badass twin drifting video's from 2008-2009; and Dmoney, who always seemed to get into a bit of trouble and start challenges with way too many other drifters!

After the first [TDSD] Server had been made, we began growing our own community. Unexpectedly, the community thrived. From here, most of the popular drifters on SA-MP got their first introductions to drifting. The server remained open until mid 2008, when we were unable to keep hosting.

The community began to degrade, over the course of the next 3 years remaining fairly sterile. We continued to go online, though lost most of our members to time.

Over the course of 3 nearly-dead years, [TDSD] created 2 more servers, and one community server project known as [SDU]. All of which were successful, but did not last.
